About Troop 25:
Boy Scout Troop 25 is charted by the PTSO of Cuthbertson Middle School in Waxhaw, NC. Troop meetings will be held during the school year on Thursday Night from 7:00pm until 8:30pm at Cuthbertson Middle School in Waxhaw, NC. Click
here for directions to the school. Contact the Scoutmaster for summer meeting location and times.
Current Registrations:
NOTE: This is not a Troop event. Registration must include a scouts and parent/legal guardians who will be responsible for scout at all times.
Eligibility:
Boys that have completed 5th
grade and is at least 10 years old OR is age 11 OR has earned the Arrow of
Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but has not reached age 18. The
boys do NOT need to be a student at Cuthbertson Middle School.
Scout involvement:
Attendance at all meetings is usually necessary in order for the boys to earn their awards. See
Troop 25 Handbook for more information.
Adult involvement:
We actively welcome involvement from adults to support the scouting program. Please read and sign the Parent Commitment.
Cost:
Yearly registration fee ($75), and the purchase of a boy scout uniform.

Meeting Attire and Expectations
All scouts must wear their Class B uniforms consisting of all components except merit badge sash, neckerchief and slide to every meeting.
The Troop 25 Handbook describes scouting expectations and also includes the following:
- Attend meetings on time and dressed in appropriate uniform
- Bring Scout Handbook and appropriate equipment to meetings and outings
- Work towards advancement
- Make sure parents have the necessary forms, information and handouts
- Participate in annual fund-raising projects
